For more than ten years, the Venice-based Palazzetto Bru Zane and the foundation of the same name have been dedicated to musical rediscoveries of French music of the long 19th century (1780-1920). Based in Venice, the foundation significantly expands the Romantic repertoire and creates new perspectives on the works and their time. In Germany, French music of the 19th century - with few exceptions - eked out nicheness. The Palazzetto Bru Zane has changed this significantly, especially in the area of light muse and bouffes.
Our mission is to make known the French music of the long 19th century, which is rarely performed in Germany. Since 2012, we have been managing this unique project with their festivals, concerts and publications in German-speaking countries with great and lasting success. The PR and press work is based on festivals in Venice and Paris, the high-quality edited CD book series as well as selected concerts and guest performances. The Palazzetto Bru Zane is regularly awarded important prizes such as the Annual Prize of the German Record Critics, the Echo Klassik, Opera Award, Grammophon Award, etc. We also advise the Palazzetto Bru Zane Foundation on the strategic development of modern press relations.
