Daniel Behle makes Lohengrin debut

Tenor Daniel Behle takes the next step into the class of Heldentenors and makes his debut as Lohengrin at the Dortmund Opera at the end of November. The new production by Ingo Kerkhof celebrates its premiere on November 30.

Following his debut as Erik in “Der fliegende Holländer” at the end of 2015, Daniel Behle has steadily expanded his Wagner repertoire, singing both the role of David in “Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg” and Froh in “Das Rheingold” at the Bayreuth Festival.

Daniel Behle remains true to his roots as a Mozart singer on his latest solo album “MoZart - Zero to Hero” which has received rave reviews and proves “entirely compelling” (WDR3).
