Ensemble Mod­ern is one of the most renowned ensembles for con­tem­por­ary music world­wide. Foun­ded in 1980 and based in Frank­furt am Main, the ensemble is cur­rently shaped by 18 soloists who lead the activ­it­ies of this demo­crat­ic­ally organ­ized col­lect­ive. Jörg Halu­bek has made a name for him­self as a con­duct­or, organ­ist, and maes­tro al cem­balo. With his ensemble il Gusto Barocco, foun­ded in 2008, the Early Music spe­cial­ist reg­u­larly per­forms at renowned fest­ivals in the Ger­man-speak­ing world and hosts the “Stut­tgarter Reihe”.
