Basel Sin­foni­etta

The Basel Sin­foni­etta is a sym­phon­ic orches­tra spe­cial­ising in con­tem­por­ary music. In its six sub­scrip­tion con­certs, the Basel Sin­foni­etta presents innov­at­ive pro­grammes for Basel and the region. As Opheli­as Cul­ture PR, we have been respons­ible for all areas of pub­lic rela­tions and present­a­tion of the Basel Sin­foni­etta since 2022. The aim of our work is to com­mu­nic­ate with the loc­al audi­ence and increase pub­lic aware­ness — also inter­na­tion­ally.

Basel Sin­foni­etta is a sym­phon­ic orches­tra spe­cial­iz­ing in con­tem­por­ary music – mak­ing it a unique ensemble world­wide. Driv­en by the goal of per­form­ing music that is in tune with the times, Basel Sin­foni­etta has been break­ing clas­sic­al con­cert con­ven­tions since its found­ing in 1980, explor­ing vari­ous genres and cul­tures in its pro­grams. The Basel-based ensemble col­lab­or­ates with lead­ing com­posers of today. Numer­ous works have been com­mis­sioned, and since its found­ing, more than 240 world premi­eres and many Swiss premi­eres have been presen­ted.

Inter­na­tionale Bachakademie Stut­tgart-EN

Although Johann Sebasti­an Bach’s life nev­er took him to Stut­tgart, his music is firmly rooted in the state cap­it­al of Baden-Württem­berg. The ‘Stut­tgart Bach style’ is now a firm favour­ite with spe­cial­ist audi­ences. This is due in par­tic­u­lar to the tra­di­tion-steeped Stut­tgart Inter­na­tion­al Bach Academy.

Opéra Roy­al de Wal­lonie-Liège-EN

As one of the three roy­al opera houses in Bel­gi­um, the Opéra Roy­al de Wal­lonie-Liège is one of the coun­try’s most import­ant cul­tur­al insti­tu­tions. Foun­ded in 1820 by the loc­al cit­izens, it has a longer tra­di­tion than the Bel­gian mon­archy itself.

The Roy­al Opera House Cov­ent Garden is one of the most renowned opera houses in the world. Under its new name, Roy­al Bal­let and Opera (RBO), it broad­casts out­stand­ing pro­duc­tions from the Roy­al Opera and the Roy­al Bal­let each sea­son to over 1,500 cinemas world­wide.
