The Roy­al Opera House Cov­ent Garden is one of the world’s most import­ant opera houses. Under its new name, the Roy­al Bal­let and Opera (RBO), out­stand­ing pro­duc­tions by the Roy­al Opera and the Roy­al Bal­let are broad­cast world­wide to over 1500 cinemas each sea­son. This gives a wide audi­ence in many coun­tries the oppor­tun­ity to exper­i­ence great voices such as Juan Diego Flórez or Son­dra Rad­van­ovsky, as well as bal­let clas­sics such as the Nutcrack­er to exper­i­ence. In Ger­man-speak­ing coun­tries too, the Roy­al Opera House cinema sea­son presents the full breadth of bal­let and opera – broad­cast live from London’s Cov­ent Garden.
