Ludwigsburg Palace Festival

The Ludwigsburg Castle Festival – International Festival of Baden-Württemberg is one of Germany’s oldest music festivals. Every summer, it brings concerts, opera, dance and other artistic formats to special venues in Ludwigsburg and the surrounding region – from the historic Residential Palace and Castle Theatre to the Forum am Schlosspark.

Under the artistic direction of Lucas Reuter, the Schlossfestspiele combine a grand classical repertoire with new concert formats, contemporary perspectives and cross-disciplinary projects. These include symphonic concerts and chamber music alongside opera productions in cooperation with renowned partners, baroque repertoire with internationally sought-after ensembles, as well as dance and cross-genre formats. The programmes place works, artists and historical contexts in new relationships and develop distinct dramaturgical arcs from them.

Since 2026, Ophelias Culture PR has been providing editorial and dramaturgical support to the Ludwigsburg Festival. This includes the development and revision of programme notes, the thematic profiling of individual concert evenings, and editorial support for the festival book and other communication materials.
