Ensemble Modern

Ensemble Modern is one of the best-known ensembles for contemporary music worldwide. Founded in 1980 and based in Frankfurt am Main, 18 soloists currently shape the activities of this democratically organised musical collective. Ensemble Modern’s aesthetic spectrum encompasses music and dance theatre genres, multimedia forms as well as chamber music, ensemble and orchestral concerts.
Bauhaus Music

Bauhaus and music – a connection that has hardly been explored until now. And yet, the first guest event at the Weimar Bauhaus in 1919 was dedicated to music, and numerous musical performances followed.

The Baroque Taste

Il Gusto Barocco, founded by conductor, harpsichordist and organist Jörg Halubek, brings together a core group of internationally leading virtuosos of the younger generation. In close connection between research and practice, the ensemble constantly rediscovers old masterpieces and has made a name for itself through world premieres and the rediscovery of forgotten Baroque operas. It can be experienced in its hometown at the self-organised „Stuttgarter Reihe“.
International Handel Festival Göttingen

Since their founding in 1920, the Göttingen Handel Festival have significantly contributed to the Handel renaissance of the 20th century. This makes them one of the world’s oldest festivals for early music. At the heart of the programme are the annual opera productions, during which many of Handel’s best-known works received their modern world premiere.
Jörg Halubek

Jörg Halubek has long made a name for himself as a conductor, organist, and maestro al cembalo. With his ensemble, founded in 2008, The Baroque Taste The Early Music specialist is a regular guest at renowned festivals in German-speaking countries and organises the „Stuttgart Series“.
The Paladins

On 30 January 2024, Zarzuela was recognised by the Spanish government as a „representative art form of intangible cultural heritage“, with the aim of achieving its inclusion in UNESCO’s list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Michael Schöch

Michael Schöch moves with the same virtuosity on piano and organ. He is a multiple prize-winner of important competitions and has received scholarships from, among others, the DAAD and the Richard Wagner Scholarship Foundation. Engagements have taken him to renowned concert halls such as the Berliner Philharmonie, the Wiener Konzerthaus, the Gewandhaus Leipzig, and the Semperoper Dresden, among others.
Oktoberfest

The Ohefest is the music festival of the young baritone Jonas Müller – named after a small tributary of the Danube in Lower Bavaria. The aim is to make classical music accessible in a fresh way to a broad audience, including young people.
Royal Ballet and Opera

The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, is one of the world’s foremost opera houses. Under its new name, Royal Ballet and Opera (RBO), outstanding productions from the Royal Opera and the Royal Ballet are broadcast to over 1,500 cinemas worldwide each season.
