La Cetra Basel

La Cetra Basel is one of the most distinguished Early Music ensembles in Switzerland and one of the most important in Europe. Founded in 1999 in the environment of the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, the ensemble has been passionately pursuing original sound for over 25 years. Under the direction of the celebrated Italian Early Music expert Andrea Marcon, La Cetra Basel unites the Baroque orchestra and, since 2012, also the vocal ensemble.
Concerto Copenhagen

For over thirty years, Concerto Copenhagen (CoCo) has embarked on a musical journey of discovery. Rooted in the early music scene, the Copenhagen-based orchestra continuously expands its repertoire. Described as an „Ensemble for timeless music,“ it has long been not only a master of Baroque music but is equally at home in Viennese Classicism, Romanticism, and contemporary music.
Bayreuth Baroque Opera Festival

When the Richard Wagner Festival on the Green Hill quiets down again, Baroque music lovers from all over the world gather at the UNESCO World Heritage Margravial Opera House in Bayreuth. Since 2020, the Bayreuth Baroque Opera Festival has been held there every year in September.
Bru Zane Palace

The Palazzetto Bru Zane – Centre de musique romantique française explores the music of the French Romantic period. Since its founding in 2009, it has significantly expanded the repertoire of this eventful 19th-century era. Ophelias Culture PR has been handling the Palazzetto Bru Zane Foundation in German-speaking countries since 2012.
Ensemble Modern

Ensemble Modern is one of the best-known ensembles for contemporary music worldwide. Founded in 1980 and based in Frankfurt am Main, 18 soloists currently shape the activities of this democratically organised musical collective. Ensemble Modern’s aesthetic spectrum encompasses music and dance theatre genres, multimedia forms as well as chamber music, ensemble and orchestral concerts.
Basel Sinfonietta

The Basel Sinfonietta is an orchestra with a symphonic lineup specialising in contemporary music. In its six subscription concerts, the Basel Sinfonietta presents innovative programmes for Basel and the region. Since 2022, we at Ophelias Culture PR have been responsible for all public relations and representation of the Basel Sinfonietta. The aims of our work are communication with the local audience and increasing public perception – including internationally.
Basel Composition Competition

The Basel Composition Competition (BCC) is an international composition competition that takes place every two years in collaboration with the Paul Sacher Foundation in Basel, awarding works for chamber and symphony orchestras. The fifth edition took place from 30 January to 2 February 2025, under the direction of jury president Michael Jarrell, as in previous years.

Haydneum

Founded in 2021, the Haydneum Foundation aims to make previously unknown music from Hungary accessible to a wider audience through research, sheet music publications, concerts, and performances. The foundation’s focus is on rediscovering, publishing, and disseminating repertoire from the Baroque, Viennese Classicism, and early Romantic periods, thus from the period approximately between 1630 and 1820.
