London Symphony Orchestra
The London Symphony Orchestra was founded as England’s first independent and self-governed orchestra in 1904. It is famous for its great versatility and diversity in its choice of repertoire and conductors. In September 2017 Sir Simon Rattle will take over the position as chief conductor of the orchestra. Amongst its latest CD projects is a series of recordings where the London Symphony Orchestra is playing under the baton of Sir John Eliot Gardiner all of Mendelssohn Bartholdy’s symphonies (published on the orchestra-own label LSO live).
Ophelias Culture PR oversees press and PR of the CD recordings on LSO live.
