David Theodor Schmidt
The German pianist David Theodor Schmidt is one of the musicians of a new generation who have already gained broad approval. In the Franz-Liszt-Year 2011 he will be dedicating two new CD recordings to the great composer and pianist. With his earlier recordings e.g. with Brahms, Mendelssohn and Bach the pianist also caused quite a stir: “The latest crush for all piano lovers” predicts the Süddeutsche Zeitung. David Theodor Schmidt can be seen live in concert amongst others in Gewandhaus Leipzig, Konzerthaus Dortmund and at the Bachwoche Ansberg.
