ChorWerk Ruhr

ChorWerk Ruhr ChorWerk Ruhr is one of the best German vocal ensembles. The group caused quite a stir when presenting one of the most important scenic works for choir of the 20th century: the opera fragment “Moses and Aron” by Arnold Schönberg. This highly praised production under the stage director Willy Becker and the stage designer Wolfgang Gussmann has now been released on DVD. Michael Boder, who was also in charge for the management of the project, conducted the Bochumer Symphoniker. The leading parts were played by Dale Duesing and Andreas Conrad. Founded in 1999, ChorWerk Ruhr has established ever since its reputation as outstanding ensemble in forging exceptional chamber music projects and as prominent cultural ambassador in North Rhein-Westphalia. Since 2008 it has been artistically managed by the Austrian conductor, composer and performance artist Rupert Huber. OPHELIAS Culture PR is in charge of the PR-activities on behalf of ChorWerk Ruhr.
