Meet Spark, the Classical Band – hot chamber music that ignites passion. The group founders, Andrea Ritter and Daniel Koschitzki, emerged from the world’s leading recorder quartet, the Amsterdam Loeki Stardust Quartet. Together with the violinist Stefan Glaus, cellist Victor Plumettaz and pianist Jutta Rieping they are designing a new classical style. For their debut recording “Downtown Illusions” Spark will be awarded the ECHO Klassik 2011 in the category “Classics without borders”.
