Janina Fialkowska
Janina Fialkowska is the „Grande Dame“ of the Canadian pianists. Arthur Rubinstein, the legendary pianist of the 20th century, admired and supported the Montreal musician with Polish roots. In addition to an international career of many years with the most sought-after orchestras and conductors, Janina Fialkowska gained an outstanding reputation as interpreter of Chopin, Mozart and Polish composers of the 20th century. Now she is celebrating her triumphant comeback in Europe with acclaimed CD recordings and packed concert halls and at the same time is conquering the German speaking area with an international piano academy aiming to advance young talents from all over the world.
