The Macedonian pianist Simon Trpčeski plays in concert with world-renowned orchestras – in the season 2009/10 f. e. with the Philharmonia Orchestra London under the baton of Lorin Maazel and the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Jaap van Zweden on concert tours in the German speaking countries. In the past Simon Trpčeski has caused quite a stir internationally with his recordings of solo repertoire by Chopin, Rachmaninov and Debussy (EMI Classics). On his first CD with orchestra he focused on two piano-milestones of the 20th century: Rachmaninov’s piano concertos no. 2 C minor and no. 3 D minor.
