"Nordic Impulses" - Bergen International Festival
Founded in 1953 in Edvard Grieg’s native town, Bergen International Festival is the oldest festival for music and drama in Norway. With its own productions in the field of opera, drama and dance the festival follows its goal of giving a fresh imptus – “Nordic Impuls” – to the art scene. Known as “the most important festival for music and drama in Scandinavia”, Bergen International Festival established itself as the pivot of the North European art scene.
