Philippe Jaroussky
The countertenor Philippe Jaroussky cultivates a passion for the re-discovery of almost forgotten music such was the case with his recording of arias written for the great castrato Carestini. For “La Dolce Fiamma” – his latest CD recording – Philippe Jaroussky has chosen the opera works by Johann Christian Bach, son of the famous composer Johann Sebastian Bach. Philippe Jaroussky is accompanied by the Ensemble Le Cercle de l’Harmonie conducted by Jéremie Rhorer.
